Went for a dinner reservation here on a Saturday night and everything was absolutely to die for! We ordered the Wagyu Gyoza, Tuna Pizza, Tuna Sashimi, Hot Mess roll and Spicy Edamame. The Gyoza and Pizza were super unique and I’ll be dreaming about them forever. Our server was super attentive and checked in on us at the right times. The atmosphere is super chill and the decor is pretty. Can’t wait to return!
Went with a large party so didn’t get to try the sushi but the premade menu was good. I usually don’t get New York steak but they prepared it best out of anywhere I’ve tried. Good brown crust on and pink in the middle, really worked well. The experience is just amazing, each dish wash done well and tasted great. The ambiance is also fancy and intimate, or private party spot is very open and spacious. Love that in Vegas all the high ends give you fancy water
This modern Japanese restaurant is located in Mandalay Bay. We stopped by for a quick dinner before the “Michael Jackson ONE” (Cirque du Soleil) show. The staff were polite and food was good. I loved their cocktail called the “Kumi Killer”, it was amazing.
Wow….this restaurant really delivers the deliciousness you’re craving! We started with the shrimp tempura - large shrimp, hand batter, and super light and flaky deliciousness! Next we tried the steak tartare……AMAZING! The flavor was great and the little bread puffs that came with it was absolutely game changer. Next we had to try the fatty tuna sashimi for $40 for two pieces….and boy was it worth it! Just melted in your mouth! For the main meal, my husband ordered the prime ribeye which was one of the best steaks I’ve ever had! That was also almost melt in your mouth! I had the tuna tacos which were fabulous! Tons of flavor, wonton chip style shell (amazing). There’s no doubt I would go back! Be advised, just like the rest of Vegas…prices are up there, but you get what you pay for! (Meal total was $275 before tip) The decor was fabulous with a look of cherry trees, beautiful lighting, private restrooms and just a perfect lighting going on. The only issue, and it wasn’t really an issue, was the attention our server gave us. He definitely was having more fun chatting with coworkers then focusing on us. (We were his only table at that time…he told us). Other than that, fantastic dining experience
Leah our server is fantastic, she went over the specials so well that we could not resist ordering them, the drinks were stellar and the presentation of the food top notch, my wife and I will be back in May and will venture back to Kumi..!!!!
Had a fantastic night with my wife eating all manner of things. The tartare was insanely good, and every roll we had was masterfully made. The service was great, but felt a little rushed. Still highly recommend!
Kumi Japanese Restaurant is one of the top Japanese restaurants i've ever eaten at. The ambiance was impressive, the food was immaculate. The staff was very busy but still managed to serve us well. Its expensive, but we'll worth it! We will return on our next trip!
